Easter, a Little Later

Well, better late than never. This year for Easter we went to Candace (our Sis-in-laws) parents house in Escalante. They just finished putting the equipment and rocks in their back yard and it was the perfect place to hide lots of Easter Eggs. We were afraid it wasn't going to happen as it had snowed the night before and rained off and on all day, but we did get enough time outside to really enjoy everything.

Here are Ian and his cousins Dylan and Mickell, and their cousin Taylor enjoying the trampoline. It was great seeing him enjoy that, it seems like not that long ago that if the ground wasn't firm underneath him he didn't even step foot on something like this. They had a blast though.

Here is Ian at the beginning of the hunt. The back yard was so big that they had plenty of room to roam.

There were plenty of nooks and crannies for those eggs to be hiding in, it was great!

After the hung there was plenty of loot to smile about. Here's Taylor, Dylan, Mickell, and Ian showing off their stash.

And the best part of all is opening the eggs and seeing all the goodies to be had. The kids were so awesome at making sure they had an equal amount of candy and toys (as I like to put small toys in my eggs to prevent a few more cavities).

Thanks to Aunt Candace for making sure there were fun bubbles for everyone too. Luckily there was a bit of time after the hunt before the rain started up again for a few bubbles to be blown.

And what is a better inside activity than playing with the Wii. Thanks Uncle David and Aund Candace for letting us play! We all really enjoyed it, but here's Ian and his after play "yes" move.

And despite all the toys to help avoid cavities, those teeth just keep falling out! :-) There are 2 more that will be gone soon. Too bad Ian thinks the tooth fairy is on vacation in New York City (dont' know where he came up with that one?!?).
