Ian Fell Asleep in the Bathtub

This last week we were going through our nightly ritual of Ian having a bath. He really doesn't like washing his hair and generally hollers at us until we come and do it for him. He had been relatively calm on this night and we assumed he had just been playing as usual. He hollered a couple of times and I told him I was coming. I shut off the lights and everything downstairs and made sure the dishwasher was ready to start before I went up stairs. When I walked into the bathroom this is what I saw.



I immediately went and got Brian. While I went to get the camera I guess Ian opened his eyes, looked at Brian and said, "Oh no, not you again," and closed his eyes and went back to sleep. All of this without really moving.

I washed him up really quick and he was kind of mad about me washing his hair. I got him dried off and he still continued to be mad. He told me "Mom, I'm mad at you, you are fired (3 times)!" It was kind of scary that he fell asleep in the tub, but we couldn't help but laugh at the interresting things he had to tell us.

We sure love this little guy and need to be more diligent in writing down the hilarious things that he says to us lately. He just lost his 3rd tooth this week, but we don't know if he swallowed it, or it's hanging around somewhere we can't see it. He went to bed with it, and woke up without it, so who knows! Fun, Fun, Fun!!!
